Video games of the 90s were torture Driven by a wider audience thanks to an ever more diverse offering and the possibility of playing anywhere and anytime with smartphones, new forms of players have emerged over the years. “Hardcore gamers” and “casual gamers” therefore coexist in our era where we can clearly state that there are games for everyone. But not so long ago, the average difficulty of games was much higher, for several reasons that we will see together. The lifespan of games What we call in the industry “the lifespan” of a game is the time it takes to see the end of it. If today most of the big games that we call “triple A” and which correspond to cinema blockbusters (to simplify) offer a fairly substantial lifespan (open world games), this has not always been Standard. Already for an obvious reason of available space on cartridges and CDs: the games were much shorter (apart from a few larger RPGs like Final Fantasy and their 4 CDs). But if the adventure was shorter...
The Best Female Video Game Characters
Recently I asked you to be a nice person and vote for the video game girl who you like the most physically in terms of face. The battle is right there.
Here are the results, and frankly I'm shocked but happy.
Triss Merigold (The Witcher 3) Yesss, the most beautiful, my favorite in the world and on Earth. In The Wither 3 I sacrificed so much of my relationship with Yennefer to devote myself to Triss. Best choice of my life.
Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) Lara, always this aura that makes her the most badass female character in all video games, even more so with the last two opuses.
Yennefer (The Witcher 3) Certainly she is very beautiful, but the real people know that she has a shit character. I never go on a camping vacation with her.
Nova Terra (Starcraft) She so deserves her own game (and kisses). Christie
Monteiro (Tekken 4) Yes, she's the girl who uses capoeira like Eddy. But in fact she replaces Eddy. Personally I prefer the first name Christine to Christie.
Tifa Lockhart (Final Fantasy VII) I admit, the real challenge with the female characters was finding images where you don't see the breasts. Because yes, that’s all there is on the Internet. So I'm proud to have found a good image of Tifa. Congratulate me.
Jill Valentine (Resident Evil) Even more cute with her little cap and microphone. It looks like she's going to coach a baseball team, but no, she's going to kill zombies.
Samus Aran (Metroid) My other favorite of this top. Quite simply because she has armor that is visually stunning. His blue suit is not bad too, but completely useless in Smash Bros. Sophitia (Soul Calibur) Admit it was the little laurel wreath that charmed you? Or his sword? Or his very average hairstyle? Princess
Zelda (Zelda) If Zelda hadn't been in the top 12, I would have thrown my PC out the window, along with half of my colleagues. Trip (Enslaved: Odyssey to the West) That’s a yes for me. A big yes. A yes with an engagement ring in the pocket.
T
racer (Overwatch) Ah ba finally a character from Overwatch. I would have seen Mercy too, and what's more, I would have THANK YOU lol. But Tracer is so cool so it goes down well.
